My Story
Hello to my lovely scent-sational customers! I wanted to share a little bit about myself in hopes of learning a little bit about you 😊 This is my story…9 years ago, I had no idea what Scentsy was. I did not even know it existed until I started following my sponsor on social media. She posted that she was sending out free wax samples to anyone interested so I asked if I could get one. It was a sample of mochadoodle and oh my goodness I fell in love! I ended up putting an order together and that’s when she suggested that I host a party to receive host rewards and get my products for free. The word FREE is hard to pass on. I hosted my first Scentsy party on Facebook and it was so much fun! That is when I thought, maybe I can join and do this too?
I started talking to my sponsor about the Scentsy opportunity and what it entailed. She was so open and supportive to all my questions and concerns. Seeing how well my Facebook party went, she knew I had a knack for Scentsy and all I needed to do was join. I brought it up to my now husband to see what he thought about me starting my own wax business. Him being the supportive man that he is, told me I could do anything with a little effort and enthusiasm. I thought about it for a few weeks and then decided to just go for it. I am not one to take risks, but I didn’t want Scentsy to be an opportunity that I passed up. On October 4th, 2015, I clicked that big purple join button and started my Scentsy journey.
My goal when I joined was not to sell or host parties; I just wanted to join for the host rewards and the extra income. I quickly outgrew that mindset though because I loved the products and what Scentsy was offering me too much to keep it all to myself. There is so much that Scentsy has given me in such a short amount of time. I have grown to not only love the products, but to also love the company that I represent as a consultant. I have met so many wonderful people since that day in 2015 that have helped me grow into the businesswoman I am today.
Even after years of being my own wax boss, I still get just as excited for every new catalog and collection Scentsy releases. The excitement never subsides! I am greatly enjoying every step of my Scentsy journey, and I cannot wait to see what the future has to hold. I am always looking to share this journey with others and to make even more memories.
